Geneva City Tour

Me and my mother are very happy with the tour that you gave us. The guide gave explanations during the trip about Geneva history and related things in two languages: English and Spanish. This is really good, because not all people speak english. The combination of riding and walking was amazing. I liked very much when the guide took us through the old part of Geneva by walking. The tourist guide was not only an expert about Geneva, but also he showed himself at all moment as a funny, easy going, and lovely person.

The Geneva city tour was really good. Since Geneva is a small city, we got to see it within the 2 hours. The coach was comfortable and the walking portion was minimal but effective.

I've taken several tours in European cities and this is the worst one that I've ever been on. There were only 3 people on the tour, yet on the tour bus we could hardly hear what the tour guide was saying. She is not a native of Switzerland and her knowledge of the city was extremely limited and basic. She was nice enough to take pictures of us at a couple of the stops, however we received very minimal information about the city, its history, and its sites. The bus was small with limited visibility from the tinted windows looking upward at the various buildings. The second portion of the tour of the Old City was on a small train with prerecorded audio. Again, our vantage point was limited from this train, and it made no stops for photo opportunities in the Old Town. It would have been far better if the Old City portion of the tour was a walking tour with a knowledgeable guide, or at least if the train stopped and allowed people to get off at points, be provided with info from the guide, and given the chance to take photos. Honestly you would probably get a far better (and far less expensive tour) if you simply jumped on a city bus and took it on a loop around the city. I would not recommend this tour.

Liked the guide. He gave a nice overview of Geneva. Took us to beautiful spots. He took our pics too when requested.

Only six patrons, so we were in a small van with restricted viewing. The guide was a Thai native with heavy French accent and her English was very hard to understand. The small train recorded audio was okay but the open car and cold. Don’t waist your money. Take the Hop On/Off tour and see the same in a large bus with great more informative audio.

Nice tour of the city with lots of information as to the history and current activities. Tour guide was well educated with information and did not sound like a robot as many do.

Small tram ride of old city was highlight of the tour. Very comfortable and guide information was clear and easy to understand.

Having arrived 1 plus hours earlier I walked across the bus stop to the office who told me I had to wait outside by the bus stop. I appeared to have interrupted their conversation. This happened in late Oct28th and being from the Caribbean it was extremely cold. With no indication I noticed later a group of persons all coming from inside same office coming towards a bus I had to enquire if that was the tour and it was. These people all different persons were waiting inside for the tour. The next problem was that I was not aware there was a river tour so when the tour ended if you were not in the river tour you were left without indication of how to get back to the hotel as the guide just hurried off with the river tour persons. Others like myself were just left there. I paid for a taxi from a hotel to get back to my hotel. I will not recommend this half day tour to anyone and a bit wary of any of viator tours again.

Nice bus... covered a lot. Good guide, driver not too friendly. Lovely sights. Having water for us would have been nice. Glad we did this tour.

The tour guides were very nice and the tour was run smoothly, but we did not see a lot of historic monuments and such, it was mostly just of government buildings or the lake. Nice scenery, but not nearly as informative and neat as we expected. I wouldn't recommend this if you're hoping to see old parts of the city.
