Brussels Card

This brussel card is one of the worst customer fails we had. First it is not worth the money unless you want to rush many attractions. Second you must exchange the barcode of the voucher at the local tourist office for the brussel card voucher. That makes no sense at all, to buy something digital to exchange it in the office. First day we arrived late at comic museum where they did not let us in since they told us we need to get the real brussel card barcode. So we had like 1.5 hours remaining and going to the office and back we would not make it in time. One of the two offices that day 10.01.2018 was closed anyway. In the digital voucher it only said print this out. But in a small sentence in the 4 page voucher PDF there was a little remark that we had to exchange it at local office. Of cause we did not read it, since this system is out of logic and i never experienced such problems before with vouchers. We had big problems with this voucher and it feels like it is just to trip tourists and customers to go to the office! If you only spent a two days in brussel you do not have time to waste in their tourist office. We arrived late at 10.1.1018 16:30 in brussel comic museum and they told us we cannot get in with the voucher. We need to buy a new ticket or go to the brussel office to exchange the voucher for the real brussel card. On the digitial voucher with the barcode it did not said so. We printed the 4 page voucher and just used the first page with the barcode where it says show it at entry. So we could not even use our 2-day voucher since the first day it was not usable. At this time we of cause did not want to spend our limited time just to take the tram pay tram! to go to the office and the office was closed that day due to construction also! We could not make it on time anyway back to the museum since it closes at 18:00. They did not let us in so we had to pay the comic museum entry fee. The comic museum staff said its a bad designed system and they have problems with this system wit a lot of customers. Where is the sense in bying a ticket online just to waste hours to go to the local office? The next day your system wasted like an hour of our live, just to exchange one voucher barcode for a brussel card barcode? How stupid is this? Refund that one day as soon as possible Marco Janc

It was great. It included all the museums I wanted to see and it saved a lot of money.

I would not purchase the Brussels card in future. The information desk in the City Hall Square is hard to find, and the staff who exchanged my voucher were grudging at best. I had purchased the Brussels card online before reading the fine print. My visit was from Sunday noon until Tuesday noon. I did not know all the museums were closed Mondays, so I got to see exactly one, for which the Brussels card was useful. That was it. I tried to purchase a discounted Metro pass but that involved various code numbers that a tourist does not necessarily carry around. The Brussels card cost 30 euros and it saved me possibly 5 euros. A big disappointment. The coupons in the booklet might be helpful to some but not to me.

Definitely choose this card. Don't visit anything without it!

Sorry when booking miscommunication with what I was ordering. Thought this included the hop on hop off bus tour. However, I was able to correct the problem via the phone in time.Really did not use the Brussels Card, but told a lot of the museums were closed.

NOTE....the certificate for this card has to be redeemed at the tourism office located near St. Michaels church....it is very small and not to easy to find...

Most places were closed on the Monday so I couldn't visit them.

Horrible!!! we never got to use the card. It took us hours to find the place to pick up a piece of paper that could have been e-mailed to me, not a card. The Holocaust Museum was closed, so why do you list it???? The streets are very confusing and easy to get lost. I chose a bad place to visit.....

Worked very well for me. Had entry to several museums and Hop on Hop off bus.

It's very easy to locate the bus staff very helpful.
