Private Barcelona and Park Güell Tour with hotel Pick-up

A wonderful tour of the highlights in Barcelona. Our English speaking guide Marco was incredible. He spoke very clear English, was well versed in all things Barcelona and was a great, safe driver. He showed up promptly at our hotel, customized the tour to our liking and answered my many questions about the historical sites and current customs and politics of Barcelona. I highly recommend this tour and especially Marco! Note -this should be your first tour then you can revisit the sites you find most interesting.

Rocio our guide met us at our hotel. She was very knowledgeable, personable and prompt. She ably customized our day so that we visited the places we had wanted to visit, recommended the perfect tapas spot for lunch and accompanied us to a shop where we could buy authentic handmade espadrilles. All in all a good day in a beautiful city.

And I’ll be thanking them as soon as we return from Barcelona. In fact, I’ll likely book private tours anytime I visit a new city for vacation and touring. We had Olga, who was lovely and flexible. She has lived in Barcelona for 5+ years, so she knew exactly how to plan the day based on our desires. I now realize how much you really get out of a private tour. She was knowledgeable about not only the sites, but other parts of the city, cultural climate, politics, and more. Learned so much by having her guide us. Great job Olga! Spend the extra money, you’ll get more from your trip and more into a single day.

Andre was a wealth of knowledge and very good tour guide. He took us to his favorite lunch spot so that we could eat like locals off the tourist path...exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend the tour.

Having just experienced two weeks of daily tours from Rome to Spain, this was by far the best of the best. Having a knowledgeable personal tour guide and drive is absolutely spectacular. Vicente started out asking us what our goals were for the day and he personalized the tour to match those goals. There is no way we would have seen so much of Barcelona without this tour. We learned so much about the culture and the people of Barcelona, in addition to some its rich history. It didn't feel rushed or canned as some of the group tours we'd been on. We had time to stroll, have a coffee in the morning and a wonderful lunch. Yet Vicente and our driver covered the entire city, from the Olympic sites, the beach, the Gothic quarter, the Gaudi building though to the Park Guell. They were not just drive by peaks either. We walked around the city and really left with insight and a desire to return.

Our Guide was Nuria - she was excellent! Her knowledge, communication skills and ability to improvise made the day a superb experience. She took us to all the must see locations and was able to handle our special requests, as well. I cannot say enough about this Guide. Request her - you won't be disappointed.

I would definitely recommend the tour as we only had 1.5 days in Barcelona! It was a very good overview of the city - will definitely stay longer next time in Barcelona!
